What to Expect When You Visit The Movement Chiropractic in Maple Grove MN
- Fill Out Your Paperwork Ahead of Time. Upon scheduling your initial consultation, you will receive an email with your intake paperwork, along with a request for you to send over insurance information, should you choose to use insurance. If you opt to not use insurance, please let us know. We offer payment plans, with or without insurance coverage. NOTE: The completion of your intake paperwork is just as important as showing up for your consultation, as it provides critical information that we need to best assess your situation. Your initial consultation is 30 minutes and does not allow for time to complete this paperwork. Please respect the clinic’s time, and your own time, by completing paperwork before you arrive.
- Show Up for Initial Consultation. During your 30-minute consultation, we will talk through your symptoms, history, and goals. We will also assess your range of motion, mobility, and assess where you are experiencing pain. If needed, we will take x-rays. Please note that x-rays are not always needed, and we will not take them unless deemed necessary.
- Attend Your First Chiropractic Visit. Meet with your doctor to walk through the findings of your examination and x-ray results (if you have x-rays completed). You will talk through a prescribed treatment plan that is specifically suited to your needs and goals, and you will also get your first adjustment. NOTE: At this time we will also touch base on your potential insurance coverage, payment plan options, and what is most affordable for your care. We accept BlueCross BlueShield, Health Partners, UCare, United Healthcare, Medica, UMR, Medicare, and others.
- Follow Your Prescribed Treatment Plan. Attend a 30-minute appointment that includes an adjustment, as well as prescribed supporting treatments based on your goals and needs. This includes but is not limited to rehab exercises, muscle stimulation, vibration plate therapy, cold laser, cupping, massage therapy, heat packs, and massage chairs. NOTE: Please note that massage chairs are complimentary, but other treatments are an additional expense. We provide transparent pricing on all services and treatments, so you know what you can expect to pay.
- Reassess and Adjust Plan as Needed. As you progress, things can change. You may require less visits to maintain optimal health and prevent pain from returning. We will adjust your treatment plan accordingly so that you only come in when necessary. In other words, we don’t want you here three times a week forever. Our goal is to have you be self-sufficient and pain-free.

- We Take Care of Paperwork. We contact your insurance company to help you discover your options, and manage billing and payment plan details, so you don’t have to think about it. We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield, Health Partners, UCare, United Healthcare, Medica, UMR, Medicare, and others.
- State of the Art Technology. We provide a digital x-ray machine in our office, along with top-of-the-line massage chairs and other equipment.
Our Cancellation Policy: We know that things happen. Please let us know ASAP if you need to reschedule a chiropractic appointment. PLEASE NOTE that massages must be cancelled more than 24 hours in advance to ensure we can compensate our massage therapists for their time. If a massage is cancelled less than 24 hours in advance, a $50 cancellation fee will be assessed.
