Kevin Jean D.C.
Dr. J here!
Why chiropractic? Everyone has a personal thought of what chiropractic is and why they should incorporate it into their lifestyle. I am here to help you find that WHY.
Back pain, yes of course we treat this, but there are so many other concerns that we help you and your body with. From ankles to headaches, to improving your golf swing, to walking your dog, the list goes on and on. I want to assist you in any possible way I can. You can live without pain and discomfort. Let’s get you moving the way your body was intended to move and back to thriving, not just surviving!
I am from a small town in northern Wisconsin, Go Pack Go! I attended the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse to earn a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science where I was surrounded by like-minded, health-oriented people. I spent much of my time being active with hikes, playing basketball, and going golfing!
After earning my bachelor’s degree, I moved to Bloomington, MN to pursue a doctoral degree in chiropractic at Northwestern Health Sciences University. I cannot say enough regarding how much I have enjoyed being here in the Twin Cities. I look forward to helping you, sharing some stories, and seeing smiles!
CYDNEY JEAN D.C.
I’m Dr. Cydney Jean. I grew up in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan Canada, and moved to Minneapolis in 2017 to become a Doctor of Chiropractic. In Canada, I was a national-level gymnast at 12, a North American competitive wall climber at 16, and an international powerlifter with Canadian lifting records at 18. I loved competitive sports, but they didn’t love me.
I had many injuries and found chiropractic treatment was the best solution to my aches and pains. I wanted a career that let me help others and share the relief I felt through treatment. My patients range from athletes, expecting mothers, babies with colic, computer users, and everyone in between. Now living in Minneapolis, I enjoy breweries and dog parks with my husband and dog Henry. In the summer we enjoy exploring the outdoors, camping and hiking. I look forward to meeting you and developing a customized treatment program so you can feel better soon.
Hello Everyone! My name is Amelia, I have grown up in Minnesota and am so excited to be working at The Movement! I have a background of working in healthcare and am finishing up my bachelor's
degree in community health.
My next steps will be attending graduate school to become a Physician Assistant. I enjoy helping people in whatever capacity possible and I know that chiropractic care has the ability to help others in the same way.
A little more about me- When I am not at work one of the things I enjoy most is cooking, I have been trying some authentic Italian dishes recently. Being a typical Minnesotan I love spending time outside during all seasons, taking a stroll around the lakes in Minneapolis, horseback riding, or walking the dogs! Arts and music are also things that interest me, if you have not checked out the Minneapolis Institute of Art it is a can-not miss! I look forward to seeing you at The Movement!
In December 2021 my boyfriend & I bought our first home, we have 2 cats and 4 year old pup who takes being the baby of the family very seriously. I have been writing since I was 9 years old and was lucky enough to have a poem published through North Hennepin Community college where I continue attending courses to accomplish my Associates in Human Services.
It doesn't take much to make me happy - sushi & Halloween are all it takes!
Chiropractic care gave me my life back and now I recommend it to everyone! I live with chronic pain but the one thing that can always make me feel better even on my worst days is getting an adjustment. Chiropractic care can be for everyone, whether it's short term after an accident or lifelong like myself, it can truly make the difference of living versus just surviving!
I grew up in a small town in southern Minnesota, recently moved to Minneapolis and am loving everything about the big city, especially that there are constantly new things to do and new people to meet! I graduated from Gustavus Adolphus College in 2020 with my bachelor's degree in psychological science and biology.
It was during my undergrad that I began to realize the profound connections between mental, physical, and emotional health and decided I wanted to pursue a career dedicated to improving the overall wellness of patients. I am planning on attending Northwestern Health Sciences University to pursue a doctoral degree in chiropractic and working at The Movement Chiropractic & Wellness is the perfect introduction to the field! Dr. J and Dr. Cydney go out of their way to explain things to me that any future chiropractic student would be grateful to know.
I live in Golden Valley with my boyfriend, who stays busy as the owner of a successful remodeling company. We enjoy hiking, biking, road tripping to National Parks, and touring art and history museums around the country. When I'm not traveling, I enjoy listening to vinyl records, playing cards, cooking, and exploring restaurants and breweries in the area.
Hello, my name is Jaime. I have been a massage therapist for 9 years and I love to help people with their pain management. I specialize in neck, back, low back, and glute work. I listen to what is bothering you and work on helping you feel better.
